Casale Monferrato commemorates the fallen with the celebrations on 2 and 4 November 2026, organised by the Municipality. The main public event is on 4 November, National Unity and Armed Forces Day. The programme for 4 November begins at 9:45 at the Monumento ai Caduti in the Giardini Pubblici, with readings and songs by Casale schools, the laying of the laurel wreath and the Mayor's speech. At 10:30 the procession moves to the Cimitero Cattolico Urbano for the flag-raising, the wreath at the Quadrato militare, Holy Mass and wreaths at the memorial plaques. During the early morning there will also be wreath-laying at the monuments in Piazza Martiri della Libertà and in the Frazioni. The two commemoration days are separate, Monday 2 November and Wednesday 4 November, and the ceremony is open to the public.
