Hugues ritrovato
Castello del Monferrato, Sale al Secondo Piano
The exhibition "Hugues ritrovato" brings Luigi Hugues, born in Casale Monferrato in 1836 and died in 1913, back into the spotlight with a program of events that explores his musical and scientific activity. The project stems from the recent rediscovery of Hugues' musical archive, the result of research by musician Bruno Raiteri, who brought to light manuscripts and compositions that had remained unavailable until now. The material is being studied and published through Edizioni Musicali Raiteri, contributing to the rediscovery of his musical production. On the weekends of October 17/18 and 24/25, the Castello del Monferrato hosts meetings and moments dedicated to the figure of the composer. The series continues until Sunday, November 1, 2026.
