Back in Gavazzana, a hamlet of Cassano Spinola, the traditional Sagra del Pesce e del Cortese returns for its 2026 edition. The event takes place on July 18, 19, 25 and 26, with food stalls and entertainment. To facilitate public access, a free shuttle service (little train) is available from Piazzale del Cimitero to Belvedere San Martino. During the festival evenings, parking bans and traffic closures are in place on some streets in the town center.
No parking and no transit on Via Cesare Battisti (section between Via Cassano and Belvedere San Martino) from 5:00 PM until the end of the event. No parking with forced removal on Via Cesare Battisti (even-numbered side, between Via della Libertà and Via Cassano) from 8:00 AM until the end of the event. No transit on Via Cassano from 5:00 PM until the end of the event. No parking in Piazzetta Don Orione, Piazzale del Collegio and Belvedere Area from 5:00 PM until the end of the event. Speed limit 30 km/h on the entire Via Cesare Battisti from 5:00 PM until the end of the event. Free shuttle (little train) route: Piazzale del Cimitero – zona Peso – via C. Battisti – Belvedere S. Martino (and vice versa).

Commemorazione del partigiano Rino Ghion "Tricoli"

Domenica 2 agosto 2026 si terrà la cerimonia annuale in ricordo del partigiano Rino Ghion (nome di battaglia "Tricoli"), ucciso nella primavera del 1945 nella zona boscosa tra Stazzano e Borghetto Borbera. La commemorazione prevede la celebrazione della Santa Messa e la deposizione di una corona d'alloro presso il cippo del Partigiano, con la partecipazione dei sindaci dei Comuni di Stazzano, Borghetto Borbera e Loreggia (PD), gemellati dal 2003 per onorare la memoria del caduto. L'evento è aperto alla cittadinanza e alle associazioni partigiane.
