Free guided hike with a Park Guide from Lake Serrù to the Nivolet plateau, in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park. The route follows Provincial Road 50, closed to traffic for the occasion, and allows you to reach the Col on foot or on horseback. Along the way, you will meet park researchers and take part in high-altitude citizen science activities, designed to introduce the local small fauna. The initiative is part of the "Nivolet: un passo alla volta" project, which promotes sustainable use of the area.
Tour de l'Avenir 2026 – Seventh stage Strambino–Ceresole Reale (Lago Serrù)

On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, the Tour de l'Avenir, the most important stage race in the world for under-23 riders, arrives in Ceresole Reale with the seventh stage. The Strambino - Ceresole Reale (Lago Serrù) stage covers a route of 130 km with a positive elevation gain of 2,556 meters, ending on the shores of Lago Serrù in a highly impressive alpine setting. The competition is considered a key showcase for future cycling professionals. For the occasion, the parking area at Lago Serrù will be entirely reserved and closed to parking.
