The Castle of Costigliole d'Asti hosts an exhibition comparing two female artistic paths. On one side, the evocative and symbolic painting of Gabriella Piccatto, on the other, the material and emotional research of Barbara Corbucci: different languages united by an investigation into memory, identity, and the language of emotions. The opening is scheduled for Thursday, June 5 at 5:00 PM. The exhibition then continues throughout the summer, fitting into the calendar of initiatives that confirm the castle as a cultural space in the heart of the UNESCO area.

Barbera Summer Festival 2026

The Barbera Summer Festival returns to Costigliole d'Asti for its second edition, with five evenings of live music at the Anfiteatro San Michele. Every Thursday in July (1, 8, 15, 22 and 29), musical groups of various genres will alternate on stage, from acoustic trio to band, with free admission. During the evenings, it will be possible to taste typical dishes and local wines, particularly Barbera, organized by the Pro Loco and a local catering service. For children, an animation service is provided, while adults can visit the craft and hobby market "Fermenti Art Lab".
79° Sagra del Peperone

Torna l'appuntamento con la 79ª edizione della Sagra del Peperone, organizzata dalla Pro Loco di Motta con il patrocinio del Comune di Costigliole d'Asti. La manifestazione si svolge nel concentrico della frazione Motta e propone stand gastronomici, musica e intrattenimenti per tutte le età. In occasione della sagra, in piazza Bovetti sarà allestito il luna park con attrazioni per grandi e piccoli. L'area è situata a circa 300 metri dal cuore della festa, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi.

From 25 to 27 July 2026, the hamlet of Santo Stefano di Montegrosso d'Asti comes alive with the traditional patron saint festivities in honor of the patron saint. The celebrations take place in Piazza Don Clerico and the surrounding streets, with a program that combines religious moments, shows, and community gatherings. On the evening of 27 July, the focus is on theater: the company "Il Nostro Teatro di Sinio APS" performs the show in Piedmontese dialect "N'APTIT DA SONADOR", an opportunity to rediscover local traditions through comedy and popular culture. The event is organized in collaboration with the Associazione Gruppo Giovani Santo Stefano Vallumida.
