Fifth edition of the Oltregiogo Piano Competition, an international piano competition organized by the Associazione Musica&Cultura Pentagramma. From 11 to 15 November 2026, the Teatro Civico in Gavi hosts young pianists of all backgrounds and nationalities, divided into two sections: one for those up to 20 years old and one for piano performance up to 35 years old. The jury is chaired by Teresa Trevisan and awards cash prizes and prize concerts. Competitors perform on a Fazioli F278 piano, with registrations to be submitted by 23 October 2026. Auditions and rehearsals take place at the Teatro Civico, where participants find the competition secretariat and practice pianos. The program includes two evening events open to the public: on Saturday 14 November, the recital "Il pianoforte parla russo" by Luca Cianciotta, winner of Section II in 2025, and on Sunday 15 November, the winners' concert with the award ceremony. The initiative is promoted by the Comune di Gavi.
