On Sunday 8 November 2026 Giaveno dedicates the day to Protezione Civile with an exercise across the municipal area. The meeting point is at 9.00 at the AIB headquarters in Strada del Ferro 70, the starting point for volunteers and participants. During the day you can get a close-up look at the vehicles, equipment and skills of the volunteer associations involved in prevention and emergency management. You learn how an intervention is set up, who does what and how institutions, associations and citizens work together when an emergency occurs. The initiative is promoted by the Citta' di Giaveno. To take part, registration is required by contacting the Polizia Municipale and providing your first name, surname and phone number.
