The Summer of Novara 2026 enlivens the Courtyard of the Castle of Novara with a rich series of free shows, from July 9 to August 30. The program includes tribute concerts (Abba, Queen, Spandau Ballet, Beatles, Toto, Pink Floyd), themed evenings (80s, 90s, Latin Soul), karaoke, battle rap and reggae. The events take place every evening starting at 9:30 PM, with free entry until capacity is reached. The series is organized by the Municipality of Novara in collaboration with various local associations and entities.
Free entry. Show start time: 9:30 PM. Sound emission limit: 80 dB(A) at the facade, music ends at midnight.

From May 1 to October 31, 2026, the project 'Partecipa. L'Estate Novarese nei Quartieri' animates the neighborhoods and hamlets of Novara with a rich calendar of widespread events. Supported by the Municipality with a funding of 70,000 euros and a maximum contribution of 15,000 euros for each of the seven selected projects, the program involves numerous local associations and ranges from culture to sports, recreational activities to social gatherings, all with free admission. The initiatives, scheduled roughly from May to September 2026, are designed to enhance active citizen participation and transform neighborhoods into true hubs of urban life. The ninth edition of the widespread theater festival turns Novara into an open stage from May 7 to October 30. Performances for adults and children come to life in unusual places such as Palazzo Natta, Teatro Coccia, Museo Faraggiana, Tetti Verdi, Rizzottaglia, the Casa Circondariale prison, and Casa Cabiria, among courtyards, gardens, and spaces usually closed to the public. The program blends contemporary dramaturgy and civic engagement, staging stories born from the conflicts and relationships of the territory. Each performance is designed to be accessible: headphone audio descriptions are available for blind people, and the 'suspended ticket' encourages participation from those with fewer means.
