Soldato Mulo va alla guerra
Piazza Garons
Theatrical performance that tells the story of brotherhood between a soldier and his mule during World War I. The monologue, performed by Massimo Barbero, is inspired by the memories of Giuseppe Zabert, a seminarian from Asti called to arms and assigned to an alpine unit. The mule Margherita becomes his animal alter ego, stimulating reflections on obedience, sacrifice, and the senselessness of war.
