16th Giro della Provincia Granda - Amateur competitive cycling race

On July 24, 2026, Sale delle Langhe hosts the 16th edition of the Giro della Provincia Granda, a competitive cycling race reserved for amateurs. The competition will start from Piazza 1Maggio and will wind along the provincial roads SP 149, SP 430 and SP 661, touching several hamlets of the municipal territory. The route is a loop with start and finish in the same square. To ensure the safety of participants, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM access and transit bans will be in effect in Piazza 1Maggio and in numerous streets and hamlets affected by the race.
No access or entry to Piazza 1Maggio from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Ban on roads intersecting SP 149 (Strada Case Iseppi, Strada Braia, Strada Viglioni, Piazza Stazione, Casa Accamo, B.ta Capponi, B.ta Baudini, B.ta Fontane) from 3:00 PM until 15 minutes after the passage of the Highway Police motorcyclist. Ban on roads intersecting SP 661 (Località Arbi, B.ta Lisotti, Chiesa degli Arbi-area verde Arbi, Cimitero frazione Arbi, B.ta Torelli) from 4:30 PM until 15 minutes after the passage of the motorcyclist. Ban on roads intersecting SP 430,149 (B.ta Cerrero, B.ta San Lazzaro, B.ta Fontane, B.ta Baudini, B.ta Capponi, Casa Accamo, Piazza Stazione, Strada Viglioni, Strada Braia, Strada Case Iseppi) from 4:45 PM until 15 minutes after the passage of the motorcyclist.
