Serralunga d'Alba dedicates the last weekend of September to cugnà, the typical grape must and autumn fruit preserve of the Langhe, with a two-day event between the castle and the historic center.
On Saturday, September 26, the Castle of Serralunga hosts the competition of artisanal cugnà and a storytelling on the Piedmontese gastronomic tradition with Paolo Tibaldi. On Sunday, September 27, the historic center welcomes the market of typical products, cugnà tastings at 11:00 and 15:30, and a guided walk meeting at Piazza Umberto I.
On both days, food stalls and street food are open with dishes from the Pro Loco and associations of various Langhe towns, and wines from the producers of Serralunga d'Alba. Also scheduled is a painting exhibition and music with La Cricca dij Mes-cia.
