Sala conferenze Fondazione CRT e Biblioteca Civica, Tortona
Organised by Associazione Scettici e Informati
Intrecci, the Tortona science festival, returns with an Autumn Special: two public events and three Sundays of workshops for children, all free admission. The programme opens on Friday 6 November at 3:15 pm in the Fondazione CRT conference room with science journalist Michele Bellone and the talk "Immaginari scientifici. Perché la scienza non è fatta di soli dati" (Scientific imaginaries. Why science is not made of data alone), organised in collaboration with UNITRE. On Sunday 29 November at 4:30 pm, neuroscientist Sergio Della Sala closes the series at the Biblioteca Civica with "Perché dimentichiamo. Una scienza dell'oblio" (Why we forget. A science of forgetting). On Sundays 15, 22 and 29 November the Biblioteca Civica hosts the ToScience workshops, with two sessions divided by age group and mandatory booking. The festival is a project of the association Scettici e Informati, the Comune di Tortona and the Biblioteca Civica "Tommaso De Ocheda", with the support of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Tortona and the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo.
