The Municipality of Valenza promotes #MiDifendo, a series of four free meetings dedicated to self-defense and legitimate defense. The appointments are scheduled for Tuesday 3, 10, 17 and 24 November 2026 at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Via San Giovanni 21, at 20:45. The meetings are coordinated by Andrea Pugliese, a retired carabiniere, with demonstrations and the participation of institutional figures and professionals from various fields. The topics include how to recognize risk situations, the principles of legitimate defense and personal safety, with insights into bullying, witnessed violence and gender-based violence curated by the local anti-violence network. The initiative is open to all citizens and admission is free. It is promoted by the Department for Equal Opportunities, Gender Policies and Social Policies of the Municipality of Valenza.
