Musical and theatrical performance retracing the life of Saint Francis of Assisi, between history and legend, 800 years after his death. The event takes place in the evocative setting of the Basilica dell'Assunta of the Sacro Monte di Varallo, a Franciscan site par excellence. The narrating voices of Alberto Borgatta and Fabio Otta, the live sound and musical production by Silvano Borgatta, and the technical direction by Luca Borgatta bring to life a story that celebrates the man who, by living the evangelical message, contributed to the reform of the Church and the world. The event is part of a cycle of twelve appointments for the eight hundredth anniversary of the death of Saint Francis, presented in various sites in Piedmont.
