On Saturday 31 October 2026, at 2 pm, in front of the middle school in via Sottoripa in Volpiano, the installation of clay tiles created by Pietro Rapaccini for the stages of the urban trekking route "In the footsteps of Saint Francis" will be inaugurated. The works, created in collaboration with the Terra di Guglielmo association, make the itinerary - born on the occasion of the International Urban Trekking Day - permanent and visitable at any time. The phrases engraved on the tiles accompany those who walk the route, stage after stage, with references to the Franciscan message of peace, fraternity and respect for creation. The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Volpiano, which invites citizens to the inauguration ceremony.
