Casale Monferrato commemorates the fallen with two days of celebrations, on 2 and 4 November 2026, organised by the Municipality. The main programme takes place on Wednesday 4 November, National Unity Day and Armed Forces Day. The gathering is at 9:45 at the Monument to the Fallen in the Giardini Pubblici, with readings and songs by the schools of Casale, the laying of the laurel wreath and the Mayor's speech. At 10:30 the procession moves to the Cimitero Cattolico Urbano for the flag-raising, the laying of the wreath at the military square, Holy Mass and the laying of wreaths at the memorial plaques of the fallen. In the early morning, wreath-laying ceremonies are scheduled at the monuments of Piazza Martiri della Libertà and in the Frazioni.
