The ninth edition of the widespread theater festival turns Novara into an open stage from May 7 to October 30. Performances for adults and children come to life in unusual places such as Palazzo Natta, Teatro Coccia, Museo Faraggiana, Tetti Verdi, Rizzottaglia, the Casa Circondariale prison, and Casa Cabiria, among courtyards, gardens, and spaces usually closed to the public. The program blends contemporary dramaturgy and civic engagement, staging stories born from the conflicts and relationships of the territory. Each performance is designed to be accessible: headphone audio descriptions are available for blind people, and the 'suspended ticket' encourages participation from those with fewer means.

Lessons are held every Thursday afternoon at the Sala Mattei of the Palazzo Comunale di Nichelino. The course is aimed at preparing public theater performances, as has already happened in the past on the occasion of the patron saint festivities and at the Nicola Grosa social center.
16° Festival Arona Città Teatro sull'Acqua

From August 27 to September 6, 2026, Arona hosts the 16th edition of the Festival Arona Città Teatro sull'Acqua, a series of theatrical performances that will enliven various city locations. The festival offers a rich program of shows, with events spread across the area. Among the scheduled evenings, on August 29 there will be a side event in the hamlet of Montrigiasco, in Piazza Martiri della Libertà, with road closure from 6 PM to 10 PM (postponed to the following day in case of bad weather).
